Netzwoche.ch is the first of the four Netzmedien websites that are part of a multi channel publishing workflow based on Woodwing.
Tech-savvy readership oriented news portal
Netzwoche is a news portal oriented towards the tech niche. As long term newsletter subscribers of the Netzwoche newsletter we are especially proud that a client with such a demanding customer base chose NP8. We are an engineering company in our core and working on a project that is so close to our values and interests was and is a great experience.
This is also just a start. Netzmedien AG, which is the company behind netzwoche.ch, is becoming a long term partner of NP8 and will be moving more portals to it in the near future. Follow our blog for updates!
NP8 turns out to be a perfect solution for news portals
As part of this project we migrated more than 65.000 articles and 40.000 media assets. We also implemented a complete re-design of the site, which is based on modern mobile-first and responsive principles.
NP8, that has been initiated by Somedia and Gassmann Media, is the perfect fit to build individual experiences on top of a well maintained news portal base system. It offered many features out of the box to quickstart the relaunch and is designed from the ground up for mobile and responsive applications with great performance.Would you like to know more about NP8? Integration with Woodwing
Woodwing is an enterprise multi-channel publishing platform. Netzmedien decided to standardize their publishing workflows on it, which meant that we integrated it with NP8.
Multi-channel and digital-first publishing is one of our special interests and expertise. During our day-to-day work with media publishers we’re identifying many problems in this field that need to be solved. We believe that this project was another piece in a huge puzzle which we’re actively working on and are planning to push forward in the future.
